SPECIAL POLICE / SECURITY OFFICERS (Full time and Part Time)
Role and Responsibilities
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle and notate findings during these patrols.
Politely inform violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Sound alarms or call police or fire/EMS in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Provide assistance to client and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Security Officers must be 18 years or older
Special Police Officers must be 21 years or older
High School Diploma or GED.
You must be able to obtain a Special Police Officer (SPO) licensing or Security Officer (SO) license.

EVENT STAFF (SEASONAL AND PART TIME)
Follow all operating procedures and policies
Follow directives of Event Staff Supervisor and/or Event Manager for each event assigned
Effective interpersonal skills in order to deal with guests/public
Serves as a greeter for each event assigned
Professionally assist guests with determining seat location, escort guests to seat locations if required
Familiarity with the information and facilities located at each venue where they are posted
Serve where needed or as support to other tasked team members at each event
Coordinate with facility staff as appropriate
Communicate with event staff and supervisor(s)
Observe and report matters of concern to the Field Supervisor and complete incident report forms on the same
Notify police, fire department or emergency medical services of problems if requested or otherwise warranted
Utilize two-way radio including safeguard of such radio or other issued equipment
Provide break relief when scheduled to other event staff including briefing such Event Staff upon their return
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. 18 years or older
Preferred Skills
You must have good verbal communication skills.
No experience or qualifications are necessary but you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of customer service, be willing to learn the skills necessary to be san success in this position and be able to deal with the public.
